Solid, Practical Book

I don't own any real estate myself, but I have read this book along with John's book Succeeding. He's got a practical non-nonsense style that I find appealing. If you want a get-rick-quick scheme don't read this book. If you want to consider all the things the get-rick-quick books won't tell you, then buy John's books. Real estate is a business and he explains it as such. I also love his guru rankings on his website. In my opinion this guy has figured out a way to have a successful life that he is in control of. He doesn't have to answer to a publisher or to the media and he's going to say what he thinks - no holds barred. I respect that.

My impression of this author isn't exactly a good one. He comes across as egotistical and unprofessional. He has a website where he spends a lot of time attacking other authors. He published a multiple email correspondences of his where he responds to people who contact him. These confirm my impression that he is egotistical, rude, and unprofessional. I definitely wouldn't buy any other book from him. These are extremely overpriced for what little information you get. There are countless other books at a much better price range.
