About the Author
Michael Truitt was diagnosed with Becker Muscular Dystrophy when he was six years old. Growing up with MD, he was the target of many bully attacks and then became his brother’s defender by protecting him from bullies for a good part of their childhood. These types of hurtful experiences have not challenged Michael’s steadfast belief that physically limited individuals can be vessels of deep faith and inspiration to others.
